"The IRS is following the philosophy of former Obama regulatory czar, Cass Sunstein [remember him?], who advocates using technology tools and behavioral science policies to nudge people to do the right thing. In the case of the IRS, that policy so far has fallen most heavily on lower-income taxpayers and has done little to collect substantially more tax revenue"

Well so much for HIPPA, but this Administration has always acted as if the American people are their Serfs and that they are above and beyond our laws.

Debit and credit cards leave a trail of where you were, when you were there, and what you bought. That convenience has exposed you all. Think about it.
The previous poster that recommended cash was dead on.

Problem with a file on the computer is it doesn’t have a “valid” flag. Much of the ‘information’ is NOT RIGHT!

What a great laugh I had on reading this.....will this include tracking the Mexican illegals, the potential terrorists, that buy firecrackers....tracking the billions of dollars sent back to Mexico, using Western Union....and those trading food stamps for beer....

The IRS and its CPA “tax professional” partners have already begun doing that. It’s quite a racket for the CPAs. They rake in lots of moola from people who otherwise wouldn’t even be required to file a return. Now that’s socialism. It’ll go on, until federal tax judges, the Public Integrity Section and others are ready to get hold of some of the gangstas in government and private (well, not so private now) offices.

I remember thinking back in the 90’s that the debit card was the Mark of the Beast. Once they enact this, you will be required to use them.
