Let’s see. My 4-2-2 (2800 sq ft) in Texas is evaluated at $135,000. In California it would cost at least three times that. So . .

$135,000x1.74% = $2349 (which is more than I am paying, but. . .)

$135.000x3x0.08% = $3240.

Yup, I am paying *so* much more in property tax living in Texas than I would in California. Now throw in that income tax I am not paying . . .

Actually, real estate in the part of Kalifornia that resembles Texas is dirt cheap.

It’s the gun control nonsense, and the Homo-education for the children that makes Kalifornia the loser.
