I’m confused. He was “still in his honeymoon” but “returned unexpectedly”? This is egypt. Was he on a honeymoon with another wife and returned unexpectedly?

I’m thinking the “honeymoon” is probably an extended initial time period - not like we think of a honeymoon. IIRC the term honeymoon started with the Vikings(?) where they would drink honey mead and take it easy for a month (moon).
