Luckily my primary gas cans are the old style ones. I only have two spare 5 gal cans I keep to fill up before any known sever weather situations. When I have to use them I just get a funnel.

I hacked all of mine and the ones my kid has and the neighbor's. But that's just me. I love a good mechanical hack.
