I remember arguing with a friend of mine, who's fiercely an Obama supporter, and asked how he could support someone who endorses the killing of the unborn. His response was, "Better that than have them grow up in a home where they are unloved."
I scarcely know where to begin with that kind of statement.
I would begin by saying a society that loves children (i.e. fellow humans) enough to NOT kill them before/right after they are born, is more likely to love them regardless of the circumstances of their conception, or whether or not their birth is “convenient”. To only love that which is convenient or that by which we find some gain, is selfish and evil.
That’s the same reasoning that’s used to justify euthanasia: If a person is not going to be completely satisfied with his life, he’s better off dead. Usually other people, of course ...
I’m sure this has been pointed out before, but can you IMAGINE the UPROAR from the LEFT if Dr. Kermit was doing this to PUPPIES and KITTENS??!!!
