1967.
All good reliable cars that are reasonably priced and/or offer rebates, I’d buy any of them except for the Chrysler products and even then I’d have to make an exception for the Ram 1500 , it’s the best deal in a full size pickup right now in the base models.
One of my vehicles is a Kia Sedona mini-van. 8 years old now and besides tires and oil changes I’ve only had it in the shop once and that was because the air-bag warning light was on for no reason. Been really happy with it.
Can’t say the same for the Chevy Metro, Ford F-150, and Jeep Grand Cherokee I’ve had in the same period of time.
We have a 1992 Toyota pick up, one of the original small ones. We don’t use it for anything except hauling. It has 60k miles on it. Lol. About once a month we go out and there is a note on it.....if you want to sell this truck call me. I was out front watering yesterday afternoon and a truck slowed down, rolled down his window and said....that trucks not for sale is it?
My Ram 2500 5.9L...”
...except the Ram. I actually meant to exclude that. My error.
My 97 Escort had 250k on it before I sold it to the daughter’s BF. Still getting 35+ MPG.
Cost me $700 and a clutch 5 years and 75k miles ago.
