Word For The Day, Wednesday, March 13, 2013-- inchoate
In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of "Word for the Day".
inchoate [in-koh-it, -eyt or, esp. British, in-koh-eyt]
adjective
1. not yet completed or fully developed; rudimentary.
2. just begun; incipient.
3. not organized; lacking order: an inchoate mass of ideas on the subject.
Origin: 152535; < Latin inchoātus, variant of incohātus past participle of incohāre to begin, start work on, perhaps equivalent to in- -IN- 2 + coh ( um ) hollow of a yoke into which the pole is fitted + -ātus -ate1
Related forms
inchoately, adverb
inchoateness, noun
Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the Word for the Day in a sentence.
The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day.
Methed up, thupid people.
Who breathes reefer into their pet’s face? Crazy people who are high.
It is 48 and cloudy-set to be the coldest temp on record for this day...
Obama’s minions’ interviews
Are rambling and inchoate-
The water is getting muddy-
As the talking points show it
The drifting from here to there
And now, passing the blame
Like a giant red-hot potato
Has them off their usual game
With the political correctness
Of Obama’s and Janet’s staff
The terrorists over in Russia
Are no doubt getting a laugh
Makes sense ... you should start off with baby steps first, then go footoate by footoate, yardoate by yardoate, and so on.
That is one of the funniest things I’ve seen in awhile...
One of my college friends used to give her cat power hits when she was smoking weed till her older brother caught her and took the cat to live-drug abuse free-with he and his wife. That friend was still a complete ditz the last time I saw her at the grocery store in the next county awhile back...
OMG...that is hysterical.
They just found another meth lab in the next county. Scary stuff.
I hadn’t seen it. It was LOL funny!

One of your all-time best poems!

Cute.
I hate that-it has been happening out here for 25 years and more-one of the unattractive things about living in a remote area-bad people can hide and cook meth there until some neighbor smells the crap while walking down the road/in the woods-or until their lab blows up and they get swarmed by deputies and firefighters, which gets more of them arrested...
Thank you!
I remember both versions of that song-and I didn’t really like the Boyce and Hart one. I’ve got “Smoke on the Water” in my head right now...
Smoke on the water, huh? You hitting the bong? ;-)
Not in many years-it was on the radio awhile ago.
Not sure but whatever it is will be rougher than the special Ed division !
You said it.
They should be able to trace the source of those threats and punish them accordingly.
