The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day.
If it’s safe enough in your motherland to go for a 6 month vacation, why do you need asylum here?
Exactly - what changed between the time the dad fled from there and 10 years so he returned? I don’t recall an overturn of the government in that time period....
Sorry answered my own question....the insurgancy was stopped in 2009 so I guess that is why he felt he could return
Good question. I baked brownies Friday night....delicious dilemma to ponder.
Exactly. That is liberal logic for you.....similar arguments used for abortion. Not only did they leave them behind when they returned...we PAID for them to live here.
This isn’t the version I was thinking of when I saw the name of the song. This is slow...I want to sing it must faster. Such a classic...a song about yearning instead of a rap song about beating up a women.
Did you hear about the guy who was interviewed and said the one brother was always going on anti-American rants. Asked why he didn’t report him or suspect anything he said that that was not unusual for Cambridge.
I am reading The Storyteller, by Jodi Picoult. I am loving it. I had been reading cheesy adventure books that I couldn’t put down without finishing, but this one I am reading much slower. I am savoring it. Odd style...jumps from present day to the beginning of the Holocaust, to a short story being written long ago by a young Jewish girl. All weaved together into a great story.
I shouldn’t laugh but that is quite funny
That sounds interesting - I may read that next
Yeah, I have seen that referenced. Liberals like this kind of “diversity”. Another thing to thank them for. RME A liberal city, college campus, what else is fermenting there?
Did you read The Historian? Feels similar in writing style to the Dracula tale.
Read Lisa Scottoline’s new book “Don’t Go”. It’s about a foot surgeon who left his wife and baby to go to Afghanistan for 6 months to serve his country. OMG...talk about a heavy dose of reality. Finished that about a week before the bombings. That one was a downer. Happy ending, though.
Seriously, the song sounds a little like the Tokens' Tonight I Fell In Love.

And nothing at all like Spinal Tap’s “(Tonight) I’m gonna Rock You Tonight”
That was very soothing, Dave.
Well, there’s only one of me.
Who gives meth to dogs?
A+++
Funny.
