Man Nearly Stole More Than 100 Bottles Of Nail Polish

MIDDLETOWN—

A 42-year-old man was caught attempting to steal $865 worth of nail polish from a CVS pharmacy on Washington Street last week, police said.

Marco Gonzalez had stuffed 102 bottles of Essie and Sally Hansen brand nail polishes into his sweatshirt, which he had tucked into his pants.

Sally Hanson is certainly much better than it used to be years ago. It goes for $6.99 a bottle at my local CVS, Essie (My Favorite!) goes for $8.99 a bottle. If he was going to sell it on eBay or Amazon he could have made easy money.

Oh yeah, you see a lot of that kind of thing on ebay!

I like Essie, Revlon is good too, and made in the USA.

Prosecutors here had a guy caught stealing 23 Oral B toothbrushes when they first came out; the good stuff. He was simply gathering the items on the list given to him by the guy at the flea market. That’s the thing about the flea market... low overhead.
