Apparently you are stuck in the 50's or whenever it was they were formed. The present ACLU is made up primarily of liberals who would like to, among other things, get rid of the 2nd amendment. To wit: "Given the reference to "a well regulated Militia" and "the security of a free State," the ACLU has long taken the position that the Second Amendment protects a collective right rather than an individual right." The ACLU likewise will not stand up for the individual (innocent) homeowners whose rights were violated in this case mostly because they are too busy arguing for "fair sentences" and other criminal-coddling liberalism.
