“Very disturbing.” Indeed. The statements of the opponent speak “We had to destroy the village in order to save it” as to the misapplication of ‘exigent circumstances’ and the disregard for the safety of the public. Pointing loaded weapons at folks without cause is assault with a deadly weapon in my book when done without a perceived visible threat and is unlawful use of force under the color of law. As deployed in this instance it appeared as if law enforcement was clearing a village in VN. This used to be done differently by men who knew what the risk was and held the safety and the treatment of the public paramount above all. What I witnessed was citizens having guns pointed at them and threats loudly voiced indicating they had better comply. Personally I would have refused and demanded a warrant before complying regardless of the guns and the yelling. But that’s just me. EV et al may do as they please. I’m older and the knees refuse to bend even more than in my youth.

The truly sad aspect of all of this is the credence law enforcement claims from every person who yields to unlawful acts by those who are ignorant of their rights.

Cheers.

That was well said.

I appreciate people who understand the difference between tyranny under the color of law and a respect for liberty under Constitutional law.

Clearly there are those even here who do not see the difference.
