I think so. I think itmakes them sitting targets.

I’ve toldmykids to leave their school and run to a fire station a block away.

I was in a mass shooting at my company. I got out and didn’t get trapped.

I lived!

Government schools are unsafe for children under any circumstances.

I just stared substitute teaching. When I go to the schools, I get a packet of info which includes lock down instructions. It’s basically hiding. You have to lock the doors, cover the windows with paper, shut all blinds and have the kids be quiet and cower in a corner. It goes against all my natural instincts.

So glad you survived the mass shooting. You have a story to tell, I’m sure!

How tragic that we are teaching the next generation to respond in fear that they may die rather than use their wits and common sense and have faith and hope that they will survive, and even overcome the villain(s) attacking them and others.

From what I understand, the VA Tech shooter lined people up and shot them in the back of the head with a .22 pistol. A man with a gun does not have all the power unless you let him.

Please do not think I’m blaming the victims. They were not trained to think tactically about a situation. They were trained to not resist.

it’s an expensive, feelgood measure, that like most liberal schemes, is counterproductivve - herding all ths victims into centralized locations for the convenience of the shooter.
