GENERAL TAGGE:

Well, I mean, there's this little hole. It was kind of an aesthetic choice by the architect. And if you shoot a laser into this hole, the station blows up.

STEWIE (DARTH VADER)

Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa! That sounds like a pretty big design flaw, then.

GENERAL TAGGE

No, no, the hole's only two meters across.

WEST (GRAND MOFF TARKIN)

Well, that's no bigger than a womp rat.

GENERAL TAGGE

Exactly. And even to get within range of it, you have to skim along this whole trench. It's not a big deal.

STEWIE (DARTH VADER)

Can't we board it up or, you know, put some plywood over it or something?

GENERAL TAGGE

Well, that would look terrible. I mean, we gotta think about resale.

STEWIE (DARTH VADER)

Resale? What are you talking about? This property is right above Sunset. The value is only going to go up.

GENERAL TAGGE

Lord Vader, your inside references to the Los Angeles real estate market haven't given you the clairvoyance to turn a profit on that condo in Glendale. Nor has it...

STEWIE (DARTH VADER)

[Vader begins to choke him] I find your lack of faith disturbing. That property is in a prime location! Twenty minutes to the beach, twenty minutes to downtown!

GENERAL TAGGE

[choking] There's nothing to do downtown!

WEST (GRAND MOFF TARKIN)

Enough of this! Vader, release him!

Alright, I had a brain f@rt as was thinking about the REBEL officer who Vader lifted off the floor by the throat at the beginning.

Now I remember. The “pointless bickering.”

Guess Vader did it the slow way.

++++++++++++++

Throat cancer?

LMAO! Police to question James Earl Jones? And/or David Prowse?

In all seriousness, RIP, he was only 66. The cause is not yet known.

Thanks for the thread O-h... (and hi there perdogg et al..)

Always enjoy Star Wars chat and too bad about his demise.

If you got and saw the Trilogy (IV, V, VI) remastered digitally, THX in the set it also had an additional “special” everything disc. Each individual disc in addition had a special features section which was in many parts and interesting. The commentary part (replay of movie with 4 or 5 of the producers, stars etc chipping in comments) was also excellent. The fourth disk had a segment documentary that was as long as the movies. Lots of background material and good overview of the development and growth of special effects etc and esp ILM. I found them fascinating and view them as often as I find time. Hollywood politics of course get a good exposure. Lucas was not mainstream lock step. He was an independent visionary artist. Jealousy of his work, success was apparent to me over the years.

Recalling back to 1977 and that first eye opening movie in the theater with my 4 year old son, who sat transfixed for the entire two hours ...and yes, Altura shared on the Facebook movie page.. who could forget that scene of “force choke”

Nice to see you all. I have been thoroughly enjoying the movies out this year. Saw GI Joe 3D today. Enjoyed it!
