And Toomey blew up his own career for, apparently, nothing.

Well, it’s a long time until he’s up again. Although I certainly have taken to calling him Arlen Specter once or twice....

If Gosnell had used a gun instead of scissors, it’d be news.

“Arlen Toomey” has a certain ring to it. I caught a few minutes of him on the local morning show yesterday, and they were reading him the riot act while he tried to defend himself.

I had to check on the year that Dr. Seuss died—1991—because I’m getting a whole Cat in the Hat vibe from your poem. Keep up the good work.

Thank you-I hadn’t thought of Dr. Seuss since I read the delightful stories with/to my daughter.
The “Tuesday when it rains” has been my phrase for ultimate idiocy since I heard it in an old Star Trek episode, used to make up rules for a scam card game.

plus when your high school students look 24, is it still statutory rape? From the article: There was no criminal investigation because Warnings boy toy was above the legal age of consent at the time.

Sanford’s attempts to make amends with his ex are too little, too late-it makes him look like he has buyers’ remorse, since he couldn’t get enough of the Argentine tail he insisted was the Appalachian Trail. He allowed a part of his anatomy other than his brain control him. Do people actually want someone that easy to tempt holding any public office again?

Obviously I didn’t read it - any woman who has graduated from college who is interested in a child is a nut - no matter what she looks like.

My wife and daughter decided that they want to try raising a few chickens, so we can have fresh “free” eggs. So, now I have a small coop on its way to my house.
To: SoothingDave
Chickens are inexpensive to keep-I intend to keep a few as soon as I build my nest in the woods-and they are pretty durable, as long as you keep them housed safely at night, away from the ‘coons and skunks.
