Sadly, I DO understand their motives and intent. Boils down to: If a bullet can come out of the end that goes bang, it’s bad and must be banished. Period. End of story. To paraphrase the soup nazi: “No guns for you.”

Your statement holds true only if YOU are holding the gun. If it is them, or the government holding it, then the gun is good and lawful thing.
