Word For The Day, April 16, 2013
In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of "Word for the Day".

3. inexperienced; unsophisticated

All kinds of verdancy out there now. Cut some grass yesterday for the first time this year. Riding mower started right up, no worries.
We could hit 80 degrees on Thursday.
I hope everyone’s bank account is flush with verdant cash the day after tax day.
Zo, ve haff to take zis verdant und use it in ein sentence, ja?
Ah wonder where them verdamn ecoterrorists will strike next?
Our Leader, so green he is verdant
By a conscience, is not overburdened
He spends like a sailor
And Michelle? Like Liz Taylor
First Lady renamed Co-Defendant
I think today is the marathon in London? They were increasing their preparedness last I heard.
Holder’s wife owns an abortion clinic and presumably does abortions. Her sister co-owns the place. Another doctor at the clinic was indicted last year for Medicaid fraud. Obama’s minions are always just nasty.
Haha -that is quite amusing
I’m not sure I’d want to peal back the pages under a Starling’s verdantly green sticky advertisement and look at what kind of glue was used ....
Unreal.....I’m sure we will see a big expose on that soon on NBC, right?
Thanks. By the way, I love your tagline.
It is supposed to get into the low 80s here today before a cold front-then 60’s tomorrow afternoon, and down to 38 tomorrow night.
Why do all the environuts
Fear the idea of change?
Climate was never constant
At best, it has a range-
Based on the distance from,
And the spots upon the sun-
Even solar flares conspire
To ruin the alarmists’ fun
They say the sky will fall
That shows how much they know-
Even icy Greenland was verdant
Only a thousand years ago...
Was hanging out at the station for a bit yesterday when my Dem driver started in with increased welfare rolls builds the economy. I responded “all right, Nancy Pelosi” when he stopped me and told me she was an idiot...I told him that he is repeating what she says...that gave him pause. I laughed my butt off. He simply couldn’t respond to that. I think the rest were conservatives and just gawked. No one defended his position, but I don’t know those particular guys very well.
I’ve started driving a truck again, out of necessity-got enough out of my car-its engine is worth the whole thing- to get into a 17 year old 4Runner-covered to keep things dry, back seat and carrying room, 4 WD if needed, and better on gas than my older full-size Chevy 4X4 was. So far, so good...
Sounds good. I love my SUV, I have cut back on trips out of town since the gas mileage was lower than my car. All for the good, I guess. I allow myself only one fill up a week, unless we take the car out of town on a road trip.
I have switched hair dressers....only two minutes to get downtown to my new one and an added bonus is that she costs $6 less for a cut. AND, I am getting lots of compliments on my cut...never got any when the other girl was cutting my hair. Added bonus. I am getting cheap with the economy.
That is funny! I hope he is more tolerant than my plumber friend-he barely speaks to me since I pushed him against his truck and called him a patronizing ass**** for being intolerant with his liberal views-and that was many, many months ago...
I was at a Catholic event last night...we watch a video then have a discussion. This one guy wants to know why the Church does not take a stand against fracking. I rolled my eyes.....was NOT in control enough to prevent it. Fr. Brian was respectful and explained why. He told him you can have differing views and the guy wasn’t buying it. Fr. discussed the social justice Catholics and the opposite as he called them who only want to worship at mass. This guy no longer attends mass regularly, but believes he alone has the right answers to the world’s problems. RME Maybe he should go to mass and listen to God not his own ego.
I do not like seeing this series devolve into politics, that is why I left one site of the Bible studies series awhile back. Social justice Catholics are so convinced that only they are right. Something is decidedly wrong there, but they remain clueless.
