I like your tagline. I’m also amazed that people don’t know the difference between ‘your’ and ‘you’re’ or ‘there’, ‘their’ and ‘they’re’.
I learned this in elementary school for pete’s sake!
Oh,yeah. And putting an apostrophe where it doesn’t belong.
“Gay’s want equal rights” is but one example.
Don’t they teach this stuff in school anymore?
“Prolly” is another one I see all over the place instead of “probably”.
“Where did the girl go?”
“She prolly went to the store.”
And this isn’t just kids, these are adults writing this as well. And journalists in newspapers! I read one article a while back when Bush was in office where the writer wrote:
“This time Bush is the looser on this bill..”
LOL! WHAT? It drives me NUTS! Where did they get this? And it occurred to me after reading a completely misspelled letter from a teacher, that they are being taught this in school. Our schools are now run by leftist “loosers” who besides being idiots in politics, are also idiots in education. That HAS to be the case because there are too many people making the same mistakes. They are all getting it from the same source: Our public education system.
