I’ve never really wanted to own a semi auto .556 rifle before. Now, it is all I can think about. We all have to own one now. It is mandatory equipment for all freedom loving Americans to own one.
While I wouldn’t tell you not to get one, think about a 7.62x51 battle rifle. The Marines ended up putting a squad designated marksman with one in, well, every squad.
I have one in .223.....now I want one in .308, the original AR caliber. Eugene Stoner developed the AR to be used with .308 but the Army downsized the gun in the 50’s.
