That’s if your machine won’t start; below those instruction is the simple manual removal via CP or Command Prompt. All my machines came thru my former Family Farm Corp’s IT people, so I have install and OEM disks.

Good points, though.

Well, I went in and uninstalled the specific update and rebooted. This laptop was still running normally so I had to override my usual “if it ain't broke, don't fix it” stance. When it came back up, it was real slow so I ran Advanced System Care and all is normal now.

I'll try it again later on a desktop.
