Please. You must be insane for harboring cats. No cat has ever hauled anyone out of a burning building EVER. They are selfish swine.
My cats didn’t have to drag me anywhere. They came in an woke me up when they knew there was smoke in the garage; averted a real disaster. Cats are smart enough to alert you early and they will let you know loudly if someone is in the house they don’t know; dogs can usually be bought off for a bit of hamburger, ie cheaply.
Dogs have lived with humans somewhere around 30-35K years, cats about 10-15K years. Dogs live with man as a co-survival tactic, cats live with man because they want to. Which is the smarter?
