Rudely displayed? “This is my damned gun?”

When a LEO clearly says that he “doesn’t care what the law is” then he needs to find another job or else he should not be surprised if he gets shot. Texas has a law on the books that allows its citizens to defend themselves from rogue cops and to do so with lethal force. This a-hole is an example of why that law was drafted and passed.

A Fort Hood soldier is fighting charges after he says police violated his gun rights, and he says they're still being violated weeks later.

If the story is accurate then the State Attorney General should get involved to discover if his rights were violated under the U.S. and Stat constitutions by the officers a D.A. under the color of authority and if the did prosecute them. Operating under the Colorado of authority and commiting a crime or depriving someone of their constitutional rights is a much more serious crime.

It’s widely assumed in police circles now, that in general, former soldiers are “like Tim McVeigh,” “homophobic,” etc. I’ve been in a combat platoon, have tried civilian patrol work and have seen the attitudes in person.

No. Instead the Army gave him a more pliable Judge who never demanded it.

video - pg 2 He's got 'em dead to rights - saying they don't even care what the law is - when law officers knowingly break the law - then there IS no law.
Hope this soldier skins them alive in court - ends up owning the prescinct. http://dailycaller.com/2013/04/12/police-anti-gun-prosecutor-clash-with-soldiers-in-area-around-fort-hood-video/2/

The law against open carry in Texas does not apply to long guns.

Is it a crime in Texas to open carry a long gun?
