I had exactly the opposite success with my Topsy Turvey's. The summer heat here is too much for the plants, even with daily watering and hanging them in a semi-shaded area. They all go dormant.
OTOH, the same type pepper plants in my raised beds grew to 6ft tall and produced like crazy.
I took my planters down three weeks ago. I won't use them again.

Thanks for the pics. Those are some good lookin strawberry beds. That blueberry cage amazes me every time I see it.LOL
