Here’s what a Maryland lawmaker had to say about assault weapons, “Other than target shooting, the only other reason [for a semi-automic firearm] would be for self-defense… [Why would you need a] rifle that accommodates 20 rounds semi-automatic for deer hunting? … It’s only very infrequently that someone commits a crime with an assault weapon – why do you need one for self-defense?”

In Colorado it is illegal to hunt deer with 223, you need 6MM or larger and a certain amount of energy at 100 yards. There is also a limit on the number of rounds and magazine size for hunting. Why do these stupid anti gun people tell us lies about magazines ie degette one use magazine, and how to defend ourselves when their knowledge is so limited? Homeland security said that an ar15 is a good homeland security weapon. I had a bear try to enter my house so I use something much larger. Why do these “laws” not protect people form criminals?
