I did some research on the newer Ford Focus becuse it is one of the ones I’m seriously looking at. Apparently the technology behind the transaxle is so sophisticated that BMW owners are buying the same basic design as an after market performance enhancer. It’s considered the next best thing to all wheel drive.
My 2010 has the traction control, steering control, and skid control. It’s great on winter roads. I’m amazed really. When I go into a turn and the inertia might want it to go straight, the car takes over and keep me in my curve. I’m just amazed at how good it is.
Do you have any links on that? I’m technically interested in that sort of thing.
I love the looks of the new Focus hatch. They need to make a performance AWD SVT version.
