Saw that yesterday, there was lots of drama with people waiting to see what the deal was. Apparently they needed to reach Forsberg in Sweden before breaking the news. There are a lot of mixed emotions. Lots of people are bitter that the highly touted Forsberg was traded away, but Sam’s point was, well he isn’t even playing at the top level in Sweden, everyone’s reacting to what his POTENTIAL was perceived to be in bemoaning this loss, but there’s no way to actually know if he would live up to that potential. Plenty of first round draft picks do not. And Erat is acknowledged to be a top 6 forward.
