BTW, have you tried the fast drying JB Weld yet? Wow, that is some amazing epoxy. I coated a screw with high temp bearing grease then filled a hole witht he JB Weld and stuck the scre into the glue mass. In an hour I screwed the screw right out leaving a nice thread pattern for reuse.

Is that JB Quick or is there something faster?

AND.....one tip for using JB Quick...

If you have to have a repair that has a smooth as glass finish, wait for the JB Quick to set up a bit then wet your finger well with some saliva (recommend your own) and smoth over the epoxy until smooth. Repeat as necessary keeping your digit well moistened. The epoxy will not stick to your finger and will dry smooth as glass. I use this technique for plastic auto body panel cracks before priming and painting. Saves hundreds on body shop work. Plenty of other applications as well.
