A+++ ....can’t believe they keep coming up with new ones.
I’m sorry to hear your puppy has taken another bad turn-pets are our family members, and my thoughts are with you. I’ve wished many times that their lifespans were closer to that of humans...
oh, yeah...now I am so cheered up to know I am not the only one to lose a tooth NOT.
Will she take her husband with her if she goes?
I have trouble relating to a ritual I’ve never seen-the washing of feet-and admittedly, I was a kid when VatII took place-but there are a number of rituals familiar to me since childhood that it curtailed, and I miss those.
I love the Mass in Latin best-I learned it as a child and I miss it. I don’t like any rock and roll/dancing Mass-I want to hear the conventional hymns, and I like those in Latin, too. I love to rock, but not in church. I still go to confession, especially if I intend on receiving Holy Communion that Sunday, old fashioned or not. I love Gregorian chants-fortunately, I have some on CD...
I am so sorry about your furry friend. We lost our Golden Feb. 8, and I’m still numb. Yesterday, I was cleaning my desk at the office in preparation for my surgery on Friday, and I opened a blue folder. Blue folders are reserved for personnel. Thare was an 8 1/2 x 11 picture of Max (in better days) sitting on my front door mat. It must have been taken in the Fall because he was flanked by large posts of bronze mums, and there was a wreath of autumn leaves on the front door.
I don’t know why that picture was in my office under a pile of stuff, but he used to be my faithful companion here. He had his own office where he stayed without making apeep, but always alert in case somebody came by to give him a treat from the jar kept outside the door.
Who knows. I guess this is to make it up to her for dissing her after his first election. She should be articulate and smooth, instead she was a stuttering idiot when she was promoting herself for Senator. It was unbelievable how dumb she sounded. How can she really manage to be an ambassador?
Ambassadors to friendly nations really just have to smile and attend banquets.
Thank you! They are “weaselwords” in my common vernacular...
Caroline K seems to have all the intelligence of an artichoke-typical Kennedy. If she really gets the post, I pray that one of her staffers is supplied with some large rolls of industrial strength duct tape for her mouth...
It’s over. I can’t believe how upset I am. DH took off in his car for a ride. He was crying, but I let him go. Had to tell the kids myself. Dang what a wuss I am. I made it through the actual death just fine. Then I fall apart.
I am so sorry. These are very hard times. Been there, hate that.
