A+++ I will be watching Pope Francis. I still feel he will be a fine pope, but felt some unease. Not totally alarmed as yet.
A+++ And I was anticipating how you what words you would use to rhyme with.
no, they were in Rochester for a hockey tournament in Rochester years ago when the priest came out and said who wants to ROCK AND ROLL. xsboy was maybe 11 or 12 at the time.
A++ will pass on the unseemly remark that came to mind.
like i said, it gives me pause and causes some trepidations for the reasons i enumerated, but i am hopeful that he will look for the consequences of what he chooses to do.
Rochester = sin city? At least for Catholic doctrine. Still waiting to hear who our new Bishop will be. We are under the Bishop of Syracuse still.
Today is D day. As if yesterday’s tooth loss saga was not enough for a week, today we take Missy to the vets and let her go. Wouldn’t you know she is up bright and early and eagerly shared DH’s breakfast of peanut butter toast? This is what happens, after a really bad day she rebounds and I won’t call the vet. They told me if I wait too long and she gets really bad they will take her within the hour for us. I have NOT been able to make that call. DH did it yesterday while I was in the dentist’s chair.
Saturday I came home from a call to find her on my foyer rug laying in a pile of diarrhea...and it’s still coming out of her. Broke my heart. She just looked at me as if her look was saying she was sorry. I cried to find her like that. 4:45pm today. Then I am supposed to go on call tonight. My week long vacation can only get better, can’t it?
i am praying for you, i know this is hard.
I’m sorry for you, but you know it’s for the best.
You weren’t the only one to end the holiday weekend with fewer teeth than started with. Crosby took a puck to the mouth on his first shift Saturday.
No concussion symptoms, so that’s good.
I heard last night that a hockey player in Russia took one to the head and ended up dying later. He was up and drove himself home and everything. Then later...
they said broken jaw too. and at the hand of Brooks Orpik no less!
Thank God for FB. My friend’s daughter just lost her battle with breast cancer. I might have missed it. So very sad.
Yes, surgery sat night. But he’s supposedly eating soft food as well as liquids and maybe already home. He should be back for playoffs.
Here too.
I keep seeing Caroline Kennedy’s name out there as Ambassador to Japan. Uh, isn’t she, uh, like to stupid to be, uh, you know like an ambassador?
cute. xshub had told me that jimmy fallon was on board the bandwagon.
It is 71 and sprinkling off and on-I hope it pours...
With the twisting and turning
To avoid a truthful statement
The use of polysemous words
Continues without abatement
Whatever “is” is, or is not
Is part of the obfuscation-
But it is only one part of
The Obama minion creation
The rhetoric is more transparent-
Every time they spin a word,
A lot of us say enough of that-
Just more crap we’ve already heard...
