Thank you Chris. I have another question(s)...

There is a scene between Tyrion and Cersei and it seems to me that Cersei regrets putting Jofrey on the throne, and she is on the bed crying and Tryion seems to come close as if to comfort her. Is that what is happening and do they grow closer as a result of this.

Btw, I really like Tyrion. He’s grown on me despite the constant vulgarity.

And finally, is Tywin Lannister evil? He doesn’t come across that way to me, for example on how he well he treats the “cupbearer”.

Your thoughts? :)

p.s. They killed off my favorite characters, mainly Ned and Khal. However, I’m really liking Tyrion and Kate’s new bodyguard. This show has such fascinating characters!

Well, I will attempt to answer some of these questions, but I do not want to spoil. I highly, recommend reading the books, because these are without a doubt the most detailed and deep characters that I have ever encountered in any book I’ve ever read.

Cersei hates Tyrion. Tyrion is a good man. He is truly one of the finest characters in the books.

It’s difficult to say if Tywin is evil. For example, it is easy to say that Joffrey is evil. Something ain’t right with that boy. But it’s harder to make such judgments on other characters. Jaimie for instance. He starts off loathsome, but does he remain that way?

The Hound...seems like a horrid beast of a person, but is he?

Tywin is a hard and proud man. He is evil in some ways, but perhaps not so much in others. One thing is for certain, the actor Charles Dance was perfectly cast to play this role of Tywin...his eyes are just deadly.

What is very interesting to me is the dynamics of the relationship between himself and Tyrion.

The thing I’ve noticed about the killing off of some characters, especially Ned and Drogo, is that, as sad as it is, as some characters depart it makes room for others to shine.
