March 31 marks the birthday of National Farm Workers Association (later United Farm Workers) co-founder Cesar Chavez. Chavez, who was trained by Saul Alinsky in the tactics of community organizing, has become a cult figure in California due to his organization of agricultural workers. March 31 also happens to be another important date this year: Easter. So, naturally, Googles current logo features a graphic of Chavezs face, rather than anything having to do with Easter.

They may as well celebrate Barrabas.
Anyone know how to change search engine in Opera v12? It keeps asking for a “string” when I try to switch to Bing or another one, and I have no idea of what that is...
Chavez the mass murderer beats out Jesus in the eyes of google
Switched to Bing
It looks to me like Google is trying to annoy Christians on purpose just to see how many buttons they can push. Their dumbest publicity stunt ever. Some moonbat’s head is probably going to roll over this one.
They want to make a statement? How about we respond by dropping them. Unfortunately, too many have been sucked into their gmail and other features universe. Better to have no theme than to place the image of a socialist on their search engine .... on his 86th? birthday!
I hope Cinco de Mayo is. lol. At least that would be a decent celebration. We will have a hispanic national holiday someday and I hope it is that day. Certainly not Chavez’ birthday. Although since we don’t get a day off for Easter, and we don’t have a day off from President’s Day to Memorial Day. Some day in between would be nice. lol. But not Cesar Chavez for goodness sakes.
Thanks... and Happy Easter!
Call me when he leaves the tomb.
Happy Easter to you too!
Hater of Illegal Aliens, who were infringing upon his union campaign
I switched to Bing a long time ago. It’s far less intrusive, and I usually like the new picture every day.
I concur. Ixquick is a good alternative for searching. But, do you know of a good alternative for Maps and Videos (Youtube)?
John 11: 25-26
Happy Easter. Christ is risen from the dead.
The workers never wanted to join Chavez. They liked sending their money home to family. They sure as hell didn't want to give any of it to that thug!
Ah, but the thug's minion's would follow the workers from the fields to where they were living. Tractor tires were slashed nightly as well as other damage to property of the local farmers. The workers were threatened with their wives and daughters being beaten, raped, and killed. THAT is the only way Chavez got any workers to join him. It was scary in our little town until Chavez's crew finally slashed the tractor tires of the wrong farmer.... a Japanese farmer. That brave man called the Fresno Bee and the local tv station. He yelled discrimination at the top of his lungs. All the local farmers backed him up and help protect his property at night. It was a pre planned defense hatched by all the town's farmers.
The thugs then ran out of town and left us alone when they couldn't handle the bad press!.
Better boycott the US Navy as well. last year they commissioned the USS Ceasar Chavez, an ammunition supply ship....
Well at least the communists aren’t even hiding any more, and that’s good...they’re easier to shoot out in the open.
So the real question, is, what is a good alternative to g-mail. I switch to Bing a long time ago, but I like g-mail, so is there some way I can get off it?
I hate to tell you, but it will be none. They have these controversies all the time and it has never done a thing for stock price. The capitalization of their stock means average buyers, even massing together, couldn't impact it. Too many institutions own millions of shares and they look at one thing only, bottom line performance. Google, no matter how much we hate them, is going up in the near term. (not saying there won't be ups and downs, happens with all stocks, but nothing that will send a message).
