"The No. 1 series on basic cable, AMC’s “The Walking Dead” marks its third season finale Sunday (at 9 p.m. on AMC).

What better way to celebrate than with a bloodbath?

The Robert Kirkman horror series has spent much of the season ratcheting the tension between Rick and his handy band of survivors and the Governor, a sadistic tyrant of the walled-up, well-armed community of Woodbury.

AMC has not released a screener­ of the episode, “Welcome to the Tombs,” but here’s a look at how the dead pool shapes up:

--Glenn (Steven Yeun) he made a cardinal mistake in horror stories in the last episode — he proposed marriage to his girlfriend : Chance of survival: 50 percent

--The Governor (David Morrissey):Chance of survival: 10 percent. --Rick (Andrew Lincoln):The sheriff went from a fierce leader to mad with grief and now seems monumentally ineffectual. Stupidity drives horror stories. He’s not going anywhere.Chance of survival: 90 percent

-- Milton (Dallas Roberts):You roll with the devil, you get burned.Chance of survival: 5 percent.

My Dead list (partly determined in by "The (un­written) Character Quota")

Example: Merle got axed by the "Redneck" quota

Mostly Dead:

Milton (95%) Never cross the One Eyed Man.

Governor (99 percent)Dead but exists as an zombie....until one of the group puts the 'coup de grâce" on him

Beth: (99 percent) This is to break Herschel's heart but may insure Maggie's live(for a time)

Carol: (80%) Carol is bullet bait. Period. She also is victim by "Anyone who Gets Close To Daryl" Rule. Poor Daryl..


Sasha: (80 percent) Michonne has the strong black woman role secured.

Hershel (50%) The Wise Old Man quota was Dale's until Herschel replaced him. This rises to strong 70% if the group has to leave the prison or somehow Milton survives to replace him. Fan Favorite but "One Legged Man on the run" just begs to be zombie chow.

Mostly Alive:

Andrea: (20%) will be saved but at the cost of Carol and or Beth. Andrea is safe because she fills the "Annoyingly Dumb White Woman" slot so she will survive this season.
Tyreese: (10%)has the "Strong Black Male Character" since T-Dog's heroic self sacrifice.

Michonne: Safe (See Above)"Strong Black Female Character" Plus she is totally badass with the sword. Irreplaceable!!

Maggie Safe (till next season)

Glenn is safe too. The "Ring Exchange" was a mislead to think one of them would die.
Rick: (7%) After the Governor croaks, Ricks got the "Crazy slot" filled



Karl is iron clad safe. He is the inheritor of the Zombie Kingdom. Plus he has to protect "lil Asskicker" if Beth joins the undead.

The Baby is safe as long as Maggie, Rick or Karl survives



Daryl (5%) Too tough to kill....Unless his agent asks for too much $$$$$$



The prison will be abandoned and the town overrrun
