A California parking enforcement officer issuing tickets walked up to a man video recording him Wednesday and snatched his camera, telling him to “get that camera out of my face.”

Nevada City parking enforcement officer Jack Ward then walked away with the phone as Tony Loro tried to take his phone back.

Are you sure you don't have that backwards. It seems taxpayers are working to pay his salary (and tickets).

The purpose of the parking meters IS to collect money. Does “the law” actually state a concern about WHO puts the money in?? I seriously doubt it.

Depending on the jurisdiction, yes it is not lawful to put money in someone else's meter.
