What top three movies do you think do you think didn't live up to all their hype?
Have you two ever seen RedLetterMedia’s Star Wars: The Phantom Menace review on YouTube?
Freaking Hilarious!
...inspiration for a new thread..."movies that would be more entertaining if cast members all carried chain saws"...
I see they’re remaking “RoboCop”. Why? I’m not too sure, I must confess.
Was there something wrong with Peter Weller’s performance as Officer Alex Murphy/RoboCop? Was Kurtwood Smith’s Clarence Boddicker a subpar villain? Was Ronny Cox not dastardly enough as the scheming, murderous CEO Dick Jones?
The original film is outstanding. Personally, I see no reason why it needs a remake or a reboot or a reimagining.
Couldn't agree more...Kurtwood Smith's performance was classic.
Kurtwood Smith’s Clarence Boddicker is one of the best screen villains ever.
Intelligent, ruthless, psychopathic and yet charismatic enough to hold meetings with the VP of a major multinational corporation and hold his own.
A solid performance from an underrated actor.

Tee hee!
Forrest Gump - “Run, Forrest, run!”
Only 3. There have been so many bad movies it is hard to think of just 3.
Sideways
Avatar
Little Miss Sunshine
Inception
Erin Brokovich
The Big Chill
The English Patient
The entire Star Trek franchise
Titanic
And my most overrated of all time:
Out of Africa
Anything written by M. Night Shyamalan, including but not limited to ..(these I’ve seen..Arrgh)
Sixth Sense
The Village
Signs
Unbreakable
Booooring..!!!
Any movie that the women wear bonnets a drive around in horse and buggies.
I’m surprised no-one mentions the Coen film “The Hudsucker Proxy.” It appeals to my quirky sense of humor, and has a great music score.
Citzen Kane?
Innovative, OK.
But the greatest movie ever made?
Uh, no.
Let’s not forget “The Innocence of Muslims”. it was available for a very short time and then disappeared.
It was mindblowing ridiculous but it served a purpose at the time.
I liked Zero Dark Thirty. Hated Silver Lining Plsybook!!!!!
Except Argo which was excellent!
I tried to watch it twice to see if I liked it better, because simply Everyone said it was great.
Nope, it still stunk.
Ive seen 1950’s B grade scifi films with better plots.
One of my pet peeves with films today is that they think CGI, explosions, car crashes and potty humor replace plot.
Here’s a great tune by Felder And Co., to crank up and cruise to.
My problem is the longer this plays the more aggressive my foot gets.

Most commercial (popular) movies are produced off of storyboards (cartoons) that are very loosely derived from the script and most of those movies resemble cartoons.
Is that Hanover Fis?
And his one scene in Glengarry/Glenn Ross running the sales meeting from Hell.
"Coffee is for closers!"
