“They deny there ever was ‘scientifically accepted’ global cooling; therefore, they don't need to explain how/why it ended.”

Yes. I've heard that before. “Global cooling was just hype.” So, global warming isn't?

It seems to me that use of the term “climate change” is very curious. We are told that global warming and climate change are really the same thing. Just different words for the same theory.

How often does that happen? What are the different words for the Pythagorean theorem? Or Newton's first law of motion?

Furthermore, global warming and climate change make different predictions (warming vs. increased variability.) The idea that global warming = climate change is absurd. It is amazing that so many people have fallen for it. I think we should point out the distinction whenever we can. Global warming and climate change are two distinct theories.

I think Climate Change is a tacit acknowledgement that Global Warming is bunk. The twenty year hiatus in warming did not go unnoticed. It is being managed by the warming/change bait and switch.

I suspect we will see several distinct phases in mass indoctrination:
a) global warming
b) global warming / climate change
c) climate change
d) climate change / global cooling
e) global cooling

We are (and will be) told that each phase is "really the same thing" as the preceding phase. Memory of earlier phases will be lost by the indoctrinated. But for those few who are informed and can think, the transitive people suggests that a) global warming "is really the same thing" as e) global cooling. That is absurd. This reasoning chain went wrong somewhere. The first mistake is the claim that global warming is the same thing as climate change.

Correction in last paragraph:
transitive principle

(Sorry. Every time my palm brushes the track-pad my cursor jumps. It messes me up big time.)
