Ain't technology grand? I used to have similar discussions out in dial-up BBS land, circa 1988. The 1200 baud modem slowed the repartee to the pace of a beginner chess game. Today's broadband world sure helps bring all guns to bear in a hurry, like a hyper-caffeinated Jutland.

BTW, if you're looking for a hapless Facebook victim to pummel, look up a fellow named Jay Lacklen. He's retired USAF, I believe, and one of the biggest anti-gun douchbag trolls I can recall. I give him credit, though... some ten years ago or so, I saw him wreak havoc over on Tom Bowers' message board at Subguns.com - and that was before the "Sword of Damocles" forum was moderated. That board is still entertaining, but back in the day it was really a bare-knuckles experience. Jay waded right into it and kept taunting those guys for months.

Judging from more recent info, he's still shoveling the hoplophobia at full strength. He's also a part-time newspaper columnist (don't that figure) and is writing a book. Hey, perhaps you'll inspire a chapter or two.

If you bait him into an argument and draw blood, I expect to get a ping. Happy hunting!
