His typical white grandma handled loans and was a VP at a bank in Honolulu so would know about customers’ deaths and have full access to their SS# and other personal info.
Blah, can’t remember the title of a recent tv movie (husband’s wife is in a Honolulu hospital dying and he finds out she was cheating - lame movie), but the camera kept panning to a Punahou High School diploma and the rich doper kid kept name dropping his school. All I could think of was the Choom Gang is still thriving. Very lame movie but I kept watching it just to see how far they’d take the Punahou story line. The husband did take the kids to the Outrigger Hotel (wow, dad, this is a great place - uh, hello, commercial!) which is run by one of Punahou’s trustees and who blogged about Madelyn and sonny boy’s scholarship.
I remember different, slightly. So I searched using words government, dunham, hawaii, and bank which led me to a wiki page. Here;

“After Madelyn Dunham retired from Bank in 1986, she didn’t just sit back.[20] Over the years she’s worked for various charitable organizations. [20] She did volunteer at the local library, as well as the Oahu Circuit Court, where she served as a court observer, probate aide and arbitrator for the Juvenile Monetary Restitution Program”
A probate department in Circuit Court would have a clear picture of a dead pensioner’s family tree.
