Doesn’t matter what breed, NEVER leave a small child unattended with ANY dog, let alone seven. Even with the best-behaved of canines, pack mentality can assert itself in dangerous ways.

I have a pack of four male dogs, three of them tiny minpins. They bark at everyone who goes near the fence. I don’t think that they would ever harm anyone, but the pack mentality is a strong thing. Imagine 7 pit bulls.

You know something about dogs, but not about Pitbulls. Many of the same type of attacks have been attributed to a single pitbull. Many other breeds of dogs, in fact, view children as a part of the pack that they will protect against threats from other dogs and people. As a licensed DVM for a few decades I have dealt with every breed, and there are several dangerous breeds out there. Trust me, I have had lots of close contact and had to forcefully restrain more than one in order to perform minor procedures.
