Every US citizen has exactly the same rights.
Everyone is free to marry anyone of the opposite sex they choose.
The fact that a small percentage of the population isn’t attracted to the opposite gender is hardly grist for a national referendum on the definition of marriage.
It sounds more like a personal problem to me. But, hey. I’m pretty traditional in my outlook on such things.
I’m seriously starting to think that the vast majority of liberals in this country are closeted homosexuals. Why do they care so much about gays getting married? It’s like they have a huge interest in the outcome.

There are partners who are too young for you to marry (although others their age will become appropriate partners within a few years).
There are partners who are GREAT individuals you are not permitted to marry because you are related.
There are partners who are INCREDIBLE individuals you will not know on that level because they are ALREADY married.
So arbitrary, really.
