Cool. I didn't even know they were remaking it, let alone Nicolas Cage was starring in it. Good for him and the other actors doing this. I have no doubt it will help their careers.

On a serious note though I do really like Tia and Tamera Mowery.

Cage is so into the IRS he will do any movie until he pays them off.

Left Behind: The supermarket tabloid version of Revelation.
Oh well, maybe the special effects will be good, and end-of-the-world movies are always a hoot.

I would much, much rather see the Christ Clone trilogy be made into a movie series, but I guess this’ll have to do.

...the movie series is preparing for a revamp one that will star actors Nicolas Cage, Chad Michael Murray and Ashley Tisdale. And this afternoon, TheBlaze exclusively learned that another star is in talks to potentially appear in the film. According to sources, Tia Mowry-Hardrict (of the popular show Sister Sister) is talking with producers about a starring role in the new Left Behind. I can hardly wait.

Ashley Tisdale is Jewish.
Curious that she’d agree to be in this movie.

After High School Musical she may not be getting that many offers.

Her father is apparently a practicing Christian and she says she was raised with ‘mixed’ religious practices.

Considering how popular The Bible has become.....and considering how broke Cage has become....

Can anyone recommend some Christian themed movies to watch?
Of late I’ve seen Christo’s War, Faith Like Potatoes and Revelation Road (Brian Bosworth).
What are some others?

Courageous, especially if you have children and grandchildren. Wonderful, sad and funny movie.

"Can anyone recommend some Christian themed movies to watch?"Ben Hur is of course, a classic. The three recent (2005, 2008 and 2010) Chronicles of Narnia films have been, IMHO quite excellent.
While it may seem a curious choice and would be a little intense for little kids, The Exorcism of Emily Rose, is another film you may wish to check out...based on a true story no less.

Oh yeah...I should also include, The Way. Yes Martin Sheen is in it, but worth watching nonetheless.

She’s got three movies and an ABC-TV series coming out soon, with commitments for five more projects including Left Behind.
She’s been in many tv shows and movies since the three High School Musicals.

Given all the problems Nick had with his own finances it would be surprising if his character had it together enough not to be "left behind."
There's been a dark, downer streak in his recent films. I wonder if that's do to his own problems, or if that was just the kind of work he could get.
