Going back through Bill's genealogy (we got most of it and it's not on the net BTW) you run into quite a bit of Indeterminante Infertility.

That seems to be a hallmark of the core Scandinavian membership of the Old Apostolic Church of the First Born. Both Bill's folks belonged.

So, Chelsea has a problem ~ that's a risk you take when you have one kid since those who have the problem show up with half their offspring infertile.

The old timers (all the way up to 2012, a long time ago) reduced the odds simply by getting involved in serial polygamy ~ marry, have a kid, divorce, marry someone else in the congregation, divorce, marry another one....... ~ which seems to work. Bill's mom had 5 marriages, as did his baby daddy (killed in a car wreck before he was born).

Bill's relationships with numerous women suggest he knew all about that. Chelsea could get married to some other guy and see what happens.
