I listened to and enjoyed Johnny Dollar, Dragnet and Gunsmoke.

Interestingly, there is another NY station that has their own show called "The Big Broadcast" on Sunday evenings from 8PM to midnight. It's on WFUV (Fordham University), and it consists of music from the 30's and 40's. You can tune in at http://wfuv.org/listen.

Coincidence, or is there some back-story of which I am unaware?

Hi, it’s a coincidence. Someone else pointed that out to us before. Just tuned in for a moment...it sounds great. I have no idea what there are not more 30s and 40s programs/stations around. The music was great.
