Why would ANYONE buy “ready-to-eat” salad in the first place? Yuck. It tastes dusty and unpleasant. How can you cut up lettuce and other salad greens, package them, then get them to the store and on the shelves, still tasting fresh? The minute you cut them up or tear them, you must eat them.
