I assume the Windows 8 is the 64bit version (better be!) and if so, the Maximum Memory is 16GB Memory Type: DDR3 PC3-12800, DDR3 (non-ECC)

HD is 5400rpm, the norm for laptops, versus the standard 7200 for desktops.

That’s not the correct model. You looked at a faster i3 processor and not the 2020m which is pokey.

Darn right it better be! It can handle 16GB. Of the two memory slots only one slot is occupied by a 4gb module. So they say. So I need only add a 4gb or 8gb module for a very nice upgrade
