Connecticut is a beautiful state. My husband went to school in Fairfield. A few years ago on our way back from Florida, he took a road that had beautiful views of the countryside, with some of the loveliest old bridges that I have ever seen.
Connecticut may be a beautiful state but I make it a point to avoid driving through it whenever we go south. I only wish I could do the same for New York but it would mean a very long detour and involve a foreign country.
