That’s a really good buy for what you’re getting.
I personally look for milled receivers vs. the ubiquitous stamped receivers, but for what most AK platforms are going for these days, you’re lucky to find one in such a condition for the price.
FYI: Milled receivers are cut out from a block of steel. Stamped receivers are cut from a sheet of steel and bent into the final product. I’ve seen full-auto AKs made with milled steel glow red at machine gun shoots and they come back screaming every time. On the other hand, I’ve seen stamped receivers practically disintegrate trying to perform the same feat.
That being said, most people aren’t buying or owning an AK for full auto shoots, so stamped work for a majority of buyers. I’ve owned 15 AK platform rifles in my day and traded them for various other guns and parts. They are by far the most stable platform I’ve ever shot. They’re not tack drivers, but you could drop it, run it over, bury it in mud, bleed on it, let the dog chew on it, and throw it into a trash compactor and the damn thing will still go bang. The ammo is (relatively) cheap and still widely available if you know how to look.
