Your graphic should be updated as the DHS order for .45 caliber rounds was for hollow points.

That is why we all should have a Basic Load of ammo on hand. Minimum - 1000 rounds per caliber of weapon you own. I have more than that but that information is classified on a public forum. I only engage in recoil therapy (weekly) with ammo I have in addition to my basic load.
It is late to start thinking about your basic load right now but get it going when the supply eases up. "Keep Your Powder Dry" Brothers.

I had a Dr.’s appointment yesterday. After seeing him I stopped by Wal-Mart. Their gun racks are now full except for two empty spaces.
Their ammo shelves were around 2/3 full. I noticed a sign that only one 800 round pack of .223 could be bought at a time.
I did not see any on the shelves and no .22LR at all. Calibers such as 30-06 were back to about what they usually are.

The government is stockpiling ammunition. Peoples knee-jerk reactions and being afraid of the gun laws. Or maybe the causes are government's knee-jerk reaction and the people stockpiling ammunition, hmmm?... (just irritates me when someone implies my behavior is any less rational than the government's.)
