I've watched two episodes of The Bible on History channel. I won't watch anymore. It stinks.

It's like watching a baseball game on ESPN's Sports Center....Home runs and stolen bases. Just the highlights. No context. Utter waste of time. The book was much better.

Now, The Vikings is a much better series so far.

I’ve watched all 3 episodes and I think they’ve done a decent job.

I’ve had the bible stories that very few read or see get broadcast to millions:

Abraham
moses
David
Nebuchadnezzar
Daniel
Cyrus
Herod
John the Baptist
Antipas
Pilate
Mary & Joseph

Anyone who attempts to put the major stories in the bible inside of 10 hours has their work cut out for them.

I’m very, very pleased that these are being aired.

I’m betting that 70% of America doesn’t know of Cyrus and can’t remember that they ever heard of him.
