I don’t have a lawyer I can call in this kind of situation. Perhaps I should rectify that omission.

I think I would opt for living in a free state. The only time a cop ever came to my house was over some trivial thing a couple of houses down the street. He came to my door and asked if I knew anything, which I didn't. We then talked about guns for a few minutes and I mentioned I'd recently shot a 10mm pistol. He then told me he'd just bought a Glock 20 and it was in his trunk. He then gets it and shows it to me and we chat a few more minutes before he heads out. That's the difference between the socialist hellhole People's Republic of New Jersey and Alaska.

I live in Florida and someone kicked the door in while we were out. My wife and kids arrived to find stuff in the drive way, front door wide open, and the alarm going off.

I gave the cops first pass on clearing the house but went thru it before letting my family back in.
