Historically, Colt has had its problems. Connecticut-based gun manufacturers like Stag Arms, Colt, Ruger, and Mossberg generate approximately $1.7 billion in revenue and create approximately 3,000 jobs for the state.
At this point, we're in such a fiscal mess, I don't care if they are union jobs or not. They are jobs. It's sad, no, more like a Shakespearean tragedy. And it has been that way for a long time.
Emperor Dannel P. Malloy has said if the assault weapons ban were to be expanded, gun manufacturers would still be able to sell weapons that are illegal to sell in Connecticut outside of Connecticut.
"I don't want them to leave," Malloy said on Wednesday. "As long as they are manufacturing a product that can be legally consumed or purchased in the nation they are welcome to stay in our state." WTF?
*Sigh*...manufacturing in good old Connecticut is disapperaing fast. Pratt used to be our largest emplyer...now it's the casinos. *Sigh.*

I sympathize with these Colt employees wanting to save their jobs, but their demonstration should also be directed at the unconstitutional laws that have been passed and are now being proposed in their state assembly. Like I said in my earlier post, they all should watch the movie “April Morning” on Netflix and perhaps they would be reminded our forefathers’ courage in the defense of our/their Natural rights. The 2nd Amendment protects all other rights of the people. New Englanders must revive the spark of liberty. Now, we would be a good time to remember that.
