My first driving experience in LA was also my first experience driving a rather large pick-up with a problem in something that sounded like steering linkage. What was scarier was driving a motor home during tornado tail winds or whatever you call tornado leftovers, followed by driving it in a city during sheets of rainfall in which you couldn’t see two feet beyond the hood. People wonder why I’m a homebody. Hmph.

Good morning and Happy St. Patrick’s Day to all who celebrate it!

Driving in Chicago is by far the worst experience I’ve ever had.

Driving in a thunderstorm in So Dak was also bad...I had to stop the car because I couldn’t see where I was going. But I was smart enough to pull over to what I thought was the side of the road, just in case. I mean, if I couldn’t see, neither could the guy behind me. And this was a two-lane road.
